YEAR 13 ENRICHMENT PROGRAMME

In Sixth Form we believe that along side the rigours of academic studies, pupils should have the opportunity to develop their skills and talents in other areas. The Enrichment programme is designed to cater for as wide a range of options as possible. With the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness course, pupils are able to combine their Enrichment modules with the completion of this certificate, worth a valuable 70 UCAS points. We greatly appreciate  the dedication of our teaching staff who have volunteered over the years to offer courses in Survival Cookery, Young Enterprise and European Studies. Working in collaboration with Belfast Metropolitan College weare able to offer courses in  Public First Aid or Emergency First Aid, leading to a St John Ambulance certificate. Japanese is a popular option for those pupils who see the development of language skills as an important asset. Digital photography has proved to be hugely popular as pupils are able to experiment with adapting and changing  photographs using Adobe photoshop.
