Congratulations to three students at Victoria College Belfast who have been made conditional offers of places to read at the University. Sarah Bennett hopes to read Linguistics at Pembroke College, Christina Larkin intends reading Natural Sciences at Murray Edwards College and Clio Griffin has been offered a place to read Mathematics at Trinity of Cambridge.

Congratulations to all of our students who have achieved such excellent results at AS, A2 and GCSE level!

Almost half of the GCSE students in the College (44.7%) are celebrating achieving 7 or more A/A* grades in their examinations.

Molly Gilmartin, achieved an outstanding 11 A* grades, Jordan Harman, Amy Hogg, Jessica Lockhart and Dara Murphy achieved 10 A* grades and 1 A grade while Shaza Elamin achieved a fantastic 9 A* and 3 grade A results.

A further 15 girls achieved 10 or more A*/A grades and overall the College is delighted with the girls’ excellent results. 22.2% of the year group achieved 9 or more A/A* grades.

At A level special congratulations go to Lucy Chambers and Cathryn Anderson who each achieved 4 A* grades and to Mei Ling Kwok who achieved 3 A* and 2 A grades. Juliet Griffin and Kim Connor achieved 3 A* grades and 1 A while Rachel Bell achieved 3 A* grades.

In all 20 girls (18.7%) achieved 3 or more A/A* grades and 55.1% of the year group achieved at least 1 A/A* grade.
