VCB Spring Concert

'Bach, Boogie & Broadway' - Waterfront Hall Thursday 12th March 2015

‘Bach, Boogie and Broadway’ was held in the BT Studio at the Waterfront. It showcased the choirs, College Orchestra , flute group and ensembles. Music performed ranged from Bach’s Cantata ‘Sheep May Safely Graze’ to the Chamber Choirs performance of  ‘Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy’ and Junior school performing Frozen with choreography by Alex Dick and Katie Lynn. The cast of Hairspray sang excerpts from Hairspray, led by ‘Tracy’ Petra Wells.

The combined choirs and College Orchestra gave exhilarating performances of Stopford’s Glory to God in the Highest, Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus and the evening ended with ‘The Circle of Life’ from the Lion King.
