Year 8 and Year 14 pupils should attend today between 9:00am and 3:00pm.
New pupils in Years 9 - 13 should attend between 9.00am and 10.30am. (Existing pupils in Years 9 - 13 should not attend.)
Pupils will need to bring a break and a packed lunch as there will be no catering on this date. You must not bring any products containing nuts or eggs.
Bring any medication you need to take during school hours.
We are holding an Open Afternoon on Tuesday 7th February for those who may have missed our Transfer Open Day. The event will commence at 2.10pm on the Richmond Campus. The Headmistress will address attendees at 3.30pm in the Richmond Assembly Hall.

Preparations are underway for the annual Carol Service which will be held on Thursday 15th December in Fisherwick Presbyterian Church commencing at 7.00pm.
We are delighted to inform you that the combined choirs and orchestra will be joined by former pupil and professional opera singer Ms Giselle Allen in a performance of O Holy Night.
The combined item will be rehearsed on 15th December between 2.15-3.00pm in Fisherwick and we extend a warm welcome to former pupils to sing with the combined choirs in this performance.
Please advise the office in advance if you wish to participate and music will be forwarded to you.

# Help protect your daughter’s Online Reputation
At the College we are committed to promoting online safety and invite you to attend an Online Safety Talk designed specifically for parents. This dynamic talk will be delivered by Wayne Denner and will couple Key Stage talks that shall be delivered to all pupils at the beginning of the forthcoming academic year.

Victoria College Belfast warmly invites P6 pupils and parents to attend a Transfer Information Evening on Thursday 2nd June 2016 at 4.30pm in the Assembly Hall at Cranmore Campus.
The Headmistress will outline the procedures for pupils wishing to transfer to the College in September 2017. Victoria College will consider applications from pupils who have taken either the GL or the AQE assessments.
Following the great success of last year’s event, we invite you to join parents and staff of Victoria College for a social evening at Michael Deane’s Michelin-starred restaurant Deanes at Queens on Friday 29 April.
This event will continue the fundraising for our eagerly anticipated new sports facilities and the profit from the evening will contribute to this special fund. We are hoping for generous support and a full turnout.
Cost per ticket is £35 per head. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. We look forward to your company on the evening.

We are holding a Follow-up Open Afternoon on Wednesday 3rd February for those who may have missed our Transfer Open Day on Saturday 9th January. The event will commence at 2.10pm on the Richmond Campus. There will be an opportunity to view the Senior Campus later in the afternoon.
Come and join us for a Christmas Event with over 30 artisans selling jewellery, soaps, chutneys & art! The VCB Orchestra and choir will be performing at the event creating the perfect Christmas atmosphere.

On Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd June 2015 Product Design studio The Creativity Hub visit VCB for a Creativity Masterclass. The company make products that foster imagination, empathy and self esteem. The Creativity Hub has two key products; Rory’s Story Cubes and The Extraordinaire's Design Studio.
Victoria College and Enniskillen Collegiate will contest this year’s Danske Bank Girls Schools’ Cup Final after they came through their respective qualifying tournaments. That game will be played at Kingspan Stadium on Tuesday 24th March (kick off 1.00pm).
Come and dance the night away with your friends at the Year 8 Disco! The party will start at 7.30 in the Cranmore hall and finish at 9.30. There will be music, face painting, a snack shop and of course plenty of dancing!
Tickets are £5 and are on sale in the Richmond office, all proceeds will go to the APT. Students in Year 8 may purchase one ticket for their own use and one for a friend. For more information you can download an event poster below.

If you missed our Open Day we will be happy to welcome you on 4th February from 2:20pm to visit the Junior campus at Marlborough Park North. This will be a normal teaching day but pupils and staff will be delighted to meet with you and allow you to share in their classroom activities.
Visits to classes will finish at 3:00pm and the Chamber Choir will perform in the Assembly Hall at 3:05 just before the talk from the Headmistress. At 3:30pm those who wish to visit the Senior campus in Marlborough Park South will have an opportunity to do so.

We are very excited to announce that the prestigious local artist Neil Shawcross has very generously offered to produce a limited edition of high quality framed prints from an original painting in his Penguins book cover series. The book cover depicted is very aptly entitled “Eminent Victorians by Lytton Strachey”.
ALL the profits from the sale of the prints will go towards the new Sports Hall Fund.
We are offering the prints for sale to Parents and Old Girls at £395 each. There are a limited number of prints so first come first served!
The Launch of this exciting project will be held on the evening of 14 November 2014 in the main Assembly Hall, Victoria College. Neil Shawcross has kindly agreed to be present and the main focus will be an interview with the Artist by Mark Carruthers, broadcaster and journalist.
All are welcome, refreshments will be served!
