‘Slick’, ‘heart-warming’ and ‘uplifting’ are just a few of the comments made by the audience to describe their experience of ‘The Sound of Music’ last night. An exceptional leading lady delivers a stellar performance as the iconic Maria Rainer. She is very ably supported by a choir of reverential nuns, a dashingly debonair Captain Von Trapp and by an excellent cast of unquestionably cute and wonderfully talented Von Trapp children.
